Please arrive at 11 am – you won’t want to miss the 1 hour interactive and kid friendly lecture on gold panning in Vermont, starting promptly at 11 am. There will be hands on gold panning lessons following the lecture, so that everyone can learn how to pan for gold. Nothing exemplifies the American Dream more than recreational gold prospecting. Only in this hobby can a person follow their dreams of striking it rich and actually have a chance of doing so. By the sweat of your brow and the ache in your back, the gold is there for the taking. What are you waiting for; instead of watching it on T.V., join the modern recreational gold rush here in Vermont! Learn about Vermont gold rush history, gold panning techniques, the geology of gold prospecting in Vermont and how to read a river for gold locations.

This is a very family friendly event; kids will have a ton of fun!
